Hey Matt,

Don't know if this is easily accomplished from a technical standpoint, but can you send reminders to contributors? Let us know when it's been six months or a year since our last contribution?

Hi Brian,

That's a great suggestion.

Maybe I could figure out a way to let folks know in each newsletter when their last contribution was? Would that work? Otherwise it is hard to remind folks with an appropriate frequency.

could you set it up as a user profile setting?

Say a simple select box, with 3/6/9/12 month or whatever.
Save the 'set_date' and the 'offset' in the database, and check on login.
Each time the current timestamp is larger than the set date and the offset, send an email to the user...

...or somesuch...
