If you're logged in when you visit http://www.bonsaiTALK.com/ you'll get the brand new homepage. All sorts of new features, including

7. Latest Forum Posts
8. Donation link
9. Links directory

We'll see if the server can take it!

If you're not logged in, instead of the forwarder we had before, you'll get a screen that will either let you either log in, or click a link to skip ahead to the forums.

If you don't like the homepage, you can always set your bookmark directly to the forum - http://forum.bonsaiTALK.com

USING THE HOMEPAGE:

You can click those little arrows on the far right of each module to collapse or open the modules you do or don't want to use.

CONFIGURING THE WEATHER MODULE

Inside the US
Simply go to your User Control Panel and click the Edit Profile link (that's Here )Scroll to about the middle and enter your 5 digit US Zip Code and click Save Changes at the bottom.

When your return to the homepage you should get your weather. It has been a little spotty recently due to a change in the weather software that we're working through. If you don't get your weather, try the zip code of a larger city nearby.

Outside the US
It's a little more complicated, but you only have to do this once. You need to get the ICAO code (that's a special letter designation) for the nearest airport:

Click on the weather forecast display to get to our weather page. Click International Weather on the far left under the words Weather Info. Now use the menu in the main pane to select your country and nearest city. Click DISPLAY FORECAST CONDITIONS and up in the menu bar you will see the ICAO has been entered. It's also over on the right as ICAO Used.

Write down the code or copy it and put it into the ZIP CODE field described in the US section above. Save Changes, and check the homepage.
