The first exhibits of the season have begun, with the display of a Bonsai and Art Exhibit in Fresno, California, and the Bay Island Bonsai Exhibit. While you're out visiting your local bonsai shows, consider sharing some photos with the forum. This article Old Mister Crow's Guide to Photographing Bonsai and Kusamono may help

From the Opinion desk: Our resident "Bonsai Otaku" ponders, What will happen to our bonsai after we're gone? Andy Rutledge has started up a new website, Bonsai Village. Candy J Shirey wants to know about your bonsai toys in What's in Your Toolbox? While JJR wonders, are those expensive, imported Japanese Tools Worth the Price?

When you visit our bonsaiTALK Homepage, be sure to check the box in the upper left for the latest bonsaiQUOTE. You can rate existing quotes, comment or submit your favorites.

AUCTION UPDATE: We're excited to announce our bonsai auction site will be opening in just a couple of weeks! Check the homepage for details in mid-February.
