Holiday Banners

This is a note that we'll be featuring one of Ian Homer's banners on Christmas Day, and it's an invitation to anyone else who'd like to submit holiday, event, commemorative or memorial banners for display on bonsaiTALK.

Ian was kind to create our recent Thanksgiving banner for a holiday not widely celebrated in Britain. So, if you have an idea in mind, go to it. Typical banner sizes are about 468x60 when they're resized, but you may find it much more convenient to construct it at larger proportions.

It can be difficult to anticipate the needs and interests of a 7,000 member forum, or to know how and when certain holidays should be celebrated and in what manner, so this is just an open invitation to get involved.

Best regards,

Matt

Matt,

Why not rotate a selection over Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day?

That will keep us all in the Christmas Spirit, while we surf the forum.

Cheers,
Ian.

Great! But, when is Earth Day? I am "temporally challenged."

Regards,

Matt

April 22 or March 20 it depends on who you talk to.
the April 22 one is the Earth Day that Gaylord Nelson pushed for
and
other celibrate the do on the vernal equinoxto mark the precise moment that spring begins in the Northern Hemishpere and autumn in the Southern Hemisphere
