The New Year is almost upon us! This morning I saw the Japanese Apricot's flower buds beginning to burst with the promise of new surprises in store.

Changes are taking place at bonsaiTALK too!

• The bonsaiTALK homepage has been completely updated. If you haven't visited us in the past couple weeks, you're in for a big surprise! All the features of bonsaiTALK are right at your fingertips from the moment you log in, with the events, latest comments from the bonsaiTALK gallery, recent Forum posts and Journal entries. Even your local weather and events calendar are available!
• We've changed servers and have faster page loads and a new Chat feature. Anytime you're logged in if you see the yellow "Join Chat" message in the header bar, you can click over and join in.
• We've added a decorate-a-bonsai feature to our forum: you can click on the candy cane icon right next to any forum picture to edit and send a photo greeting to a friend. It's the perfect sentiment for a bonsai New Year.
