Welcome to the May edition of the bonsaiTALK newsletter. In addition to the usual content, this newsletter highlights two contests running on bonsaiTALK, news about the Ask the Master Forum and bonsaiAUCTIONS.

1. bonsaiTALK Has Relocated!
We're a little late getting this out due to a server move that was just completed. bonsaiTALK is now being hosted on a new server and by all initial reports everyone is enjoying speedy page loads.

2. bonsaiTALK STYLING CONTEST
Voting in the Styling Contest is already underway! Voting ends Midnight on Monday, May 9, so get your votes in soon. The top five finalists will advance to a final judging round by judges Gary Marchal and Bill Valavanis, Walter Pall may have input if I can catch up with him during his travels

3. ARTICLES CONTEST
Voting in the articles contest will begin with a preview on May 7 and actual voting on May 10th. Check the contest forum for more details, beginning next week. The deadline for submitting to the Articles is Sunday, May 8th.

4. ASK THE MASTER FORUM
The Ask The Master Forum is undergoing renovation. Ian Homer will be assuming moderation duties. Welcome aboard, Ian! Trees posted in the ATM forum will be subject to review to make sure they meet basic standards before they are presented for Walter Pall's review and comment. Of course you're always welcome to post your trees in less-than-show-quality conditions to the Show & Tell forum.

5. bonsaiTALK Auctions
The final round of testing on the auction site has been going well. We plan to open the site for general use by the end of the month of May 2005. Currently there are some "test" auctions posted but you're welcome to log in and try it out.
