The forum software provider has complained that their copyright robot didn't see the copyright info plainly visible at the footer of our site and threatened us with license revocation, so I have posted the entire extortion message, which happens to include the statement required.

I really hate getting bullied to advertise for a company for products I've paid significant monies to license. It would be like Ford coming after you for scraping the emblems off your Mustang, or painting them black. In our case, the primary justification for removing the text is that there are thousands of hackers out there that are using search engines to find forums that use a particular brand or version of software in order to hack it to death.

If anyone feels strongly that that this message is disturbing, feel free to earmark $120 or some portion thereof for its removal using the Contributor link, and let me know by PM. Or you can switch to the CoolBlue which has the standard, abbreviated statement in robot-friendly goodness.
