OFFER ENDED: Come one, come all, get your Taikan-ten photos
The CD Offer for February has ended. All contributors who made submissions in February and prior to the posting of this notice on March 3, 2005, will receive their CDs. I will be receiving the master CD from Charles in a couple of days. Then I will need to duplicate and mail it. It should definitely arrive by end of March. I will post when the mailing goes out. Please let me know if you don't receive it. Within a week of that posting (Non-US addresses may take somewhat longer)
Regards, Matt One member of the group that went to Japan was fortunate enough to get a press badge to take photos at taikan-ten. He promised to send everyone who was interested a CD of the photos that he took at the show. I just recieved the CD this past week. Taikan-ten does not permit me to post the photos online, but I am allowed to send the photos to private individuals. I would like to give everyone online the opportunity to recieve a copy of the CD. So, I thought that I would do something similar to what Carl Rosner did with the serissa cuttings. Here is how it works: -Donate $10 dollars or more to bonsaiTALK forum within the month of February. Remember, $15 will put you as a stage one donor. -At the end of the month Matt will send me a list of the donors and their addresses. -I will send out a CD containing almost 300 photos from Taikan-ten to all of the donors at this time. The monitary donations are simply to weed out the number of people that I will send cds to. If I offered it to everyone at no cost, I would be sending out 500 cds. That would become quite costly on shipping if I were to do that. So, I thought this would be a good way to help BonsaiTALK and offer pictures of the show to anyone who wishes. Also, I asked Matt in advance to make sure it was ok with him. Ralph, The photos are very large. It takes more than the entire computer screen to see the photos. Looking at a random photo, the resolution was 180 by 180 pixels per inch.

hey there! im a relatively newish forum member and wish to donate. one thing, im in australia! how much shall i donate to cover shipping etc? also id love to donate heaps more, its for a great cause and i think it should be a good will thing for anyone who would rather get one less potensai to add to the collection and put a bit down for the website that brings the bonsai world together!
