4000 Member Benchmark!
It was shortly after Christmas that I was wondering how soon we might reach 4000 members. I hadn't actually bothered to look since and was somewhat surprised to see tonight that we had blown past that benchmark and were currently at 4,058!
In fact, we have added 76 members to our roster in just the first week of 2005. It looks like the new year will be a banner year for bonsai. We have been seeing an average of 10-12 new members a day for some time now. I compiled some additional member stats on the homepage the other day. You'd need to log out to see them though, because that portion of the welcome page only appears for guests. Looks like I'll need to revise the stats again soon. Regards, Matt

You certainly deserve some serious credit for making it all happen. While I'm sure it is the quality of the community that helps draw new members to this neighborhood, none of it would happen without the infrastructure and guidance from you. "Ringmaster" indeed! Congrats Matt for making/keeping this site as good as it is!
Andddddd, we should all turn around and pat ourselves on the back cause (after Matt) we are all responsible for the site being what it is. That goes for all the newbie's as well as the experts....remember it takes a village to....ah.....maybe that was something else..... Jay

None of it would have happened without your foresight and work. To me, this is by far the best website/forum on the net dedicated to bonsai. Although I am not a prolific poster, I read most of the posts. Gary
