wild growth, should i prune?
i just got my first bonsai, its a juniper. it has 3 branches that a ex-tra long. i dont think the garden pruned it. is it ok to prune thse 3 branches back to the rest of the plant. they are quite unsightly. should i use some clippers to do it?

Hi Bryan!
You should be able to prune it. Just be careful. You don't want to cut thru any green foliage with scissors or it that part could die. Instead, cut back to the nearest twig, branch or trunk.
