Sycamore Leaf issue
My Yamadori Sycamore rescued from its rather inadequate surroundings last year has developed little red raised spots on the leaves.
This is very common in this area as i have noted from wild growing trees. It is not affecting my other trees and seems even in full grown sycamores not to affect neigbouring trees of a different species. I have attached some photos for reference. The tree is approx 18-24" high with a main trunk diameter of approx 7 inches. I have shaped slightly and it does appear to be budding well but a little slowly this year The pot is 12" across which will give an idea of perspective, its in there for a while till it trains though is is doing pretty well all things considered ![]() |
