Hinoki has a curly/twisty shape to the foliage, that this doesn't seem to have, I'm thinking alantic White Cedar.

Hinoki are now native here either but are fairly common in nurseries and landscape.
Id'ing trees with this type of foliage is not easy, but it still looks like a Hinoki to me. I have a few in my yard and a couple in pots. There are also a few varieties to make Id'ing even harder. |
