My tree grew too fast
How should I hide wire impressions in my tree. The wire was only on for 3 months and the tree added about 2-3mm while the wire was on there.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO FIX THESE MARKS? (It's a weeping fig) |

YOU CAN NOT RUSH TIME
|
Re: My tree grew too fast
Thoughts of a novice on this subject. First you learned a great lesson. Keep an eye on the wire on your trees. At the first note of the wire cutting in, remove it. You CAN NOT do this by the calender. Sometimes trees grow fast other times slow. As for the marks that are now there, you can give the tree time (possibly lots of time) and it may grow less noticeable. You can decide to cut out the affected area, please do not even think of this until the tree has had time to hide the impressions that are now there.
