leaf pruning (sp?)
i know you can leaf prune decidus (sp) (sorry my spelling is very bad) trees to reduce leaf size and i understand how to prune but my question in can i prune a ficus to help reduce leaf size. a ficus never drops its leaves so i am afraid i will kill it if i take all its leaves.
tips  ?thanks peace |

You should check HERE This is an article on "Defoliating Your Fig Tree" by Jerry Meislik. While there you should check the rest of Jerry's site. Everything you ever wanted to know about Ficus is there! Also I HIGHLY recommend his book "Ficus: The Exotic Bonsai" WELL worth the money if you own a ficus! Adam |
