Question Japanese Ash (Fraxinus Aspera)

Hi everyone - As you may well have guessed, I'm new here.

I'm living in the UK at the moment so any help with my question/questions will be much appreciated due to the shortage of sun we have here and all the luck I'll need heh.

I recently received a 2 year old Japanese Ash (it also says deciduous afterwards) and I was wondering if anyone knew of any tips on how to look after them?

It is also pretty rootbound too and I can cleanly lift it out of the pot - When I re-pot the lil thing, would it be wise to trim the roots as well so it can start afresh?

If you would like me to post a picture, I'd be more than happy =)

I've ran a search of this forum and found nothing but if I've overlooked something I apologise. I also took a look at several search engines and found nothing, so any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance,
John
