Fungus?
Hello. Could someone please help me identify the white residue on my bonsais? Thanks very much

They look like mealybugs. You can use the same treatment for any type of scale insect. A soap and water mixture or horticultural oil sprayed directly on the affected area should do the trick. I like stabbing them with a pin.(just don't stab into the plant's leaf!)
