Just water and don't water again until it dries out, not like a concerte drive-way, but at least dry on top. They like a good deal of sun but don't like to cook like a road kill on an Arizona highway. Partial shade is good enough, with morning sun for now. Junipers come from natural environments where the winds blow, lightening strikes, deer chew on them, bears roll on them, blizzards blizzard on them and they sometimes get burried under avalanches, but---oddly enough you can kill them with kindness.

Thank you Vance for this new verb! It will become well used here in New England....is Blizzarding an acceptable form of this word? (ie...its Blizzarding like heck outside)

The best thing to do at this point IS NOTHING AT ALL

You hve begun what I call "beginner futzing." Futzing is doing nothing in particular to a tree, but doing nothing in particular until you kill the plant

Quit with the seaweed. It's not doing anything except making you feel better. It's not helping the plant and could be complicating things. The soil on your tree is most likely in need of a change, but that can't be done until the plant is recovered--which could take a year or two.

Might work but it kind of breaks down when you try to use it in past tense. It blizzarded? Because of that it loses is eminence as a word that can be used for any purpose from the amuzing to the profane. Though I kind of get a kick out of peoples reaction when I tell them to go blizzard themselves.

lol yall a re funny. I love the new verbage...will try it out in daily converting. and like I said, alot of it is still green. so I"m hoping that delayd dying isn't in fact truth. and I also have another question- I live at a college. so I put my tree out in teh garden under the trees. in about 2 months or so, I have to move back down the street to my old building. will changing in slight evironments hurt it like that, even thought it's basically the same area, just different place. this other building I"m moving into, I've lived in before, it has an completely enclosed outdoor garden. I also put it on a bench under a rather large tree. again thanks everyone, I will have lots of paitience and lots of hope.
