Has anyone had ill affects from using 'leafshine' spray products on their bonsai? We have hard-water here and I was wondering if you use this every so often to clean off the calcium deposits, does this hurt the plant in the long run? I know this is not good for 'hairy-leaved or fleshy plants but would this hurt a yaupon holly or boxwood? Thanks, Rob __________________ Bonsai Apprentice

TreeBay Tips:5¢ Advice:Free *MODERATOR GROUP* Join Date: Aug-2001 Location: Silicon Valley Country: USA USDA Zone: 9 AHS Heat Zone: 4 Posts: 9,742	I have used plant polish (Wilt Pruf and Anti Stress 2000) on needled and broadleaf plants like Cedar, Apple, Pomegranate, Yaupon Holly and Palm prior to display at bonsai shows.
