Bahama Berry
Hey, I purchased a Bahama Berry (Nashia inaguensis) and am wondering if anyone at all has had any experience with this tropical plant. Its a good looking plant with many opportunities for styling. Also it smells like fruit loops...
I may post a picture if anyone is interested. |

Of course we'd love to see pictures!
My experience with bahama berry is that their branches are very brittle except when the first emerge green, so bending is tough. They bud back like litte fiends, which is good. they also send out new roots very easily. But don't let it dry out! It'll croak if it gets too dry, so make sure the soil is always a bit moist at least. http://forum.bonsaitalk.com/showthread.php?t=8734 pootsie |

Hey 420, I had a forest i made with them, when winter came i moved it in doors and the lack of (very high)humidity slowly killed them. Good luck and yes lets see a pic.
