The Verbal Diarrhea

I think there has been so much garbage on this forum it's a travesty.
The blow-hards and pompous fools have really tarnished a good thing.
I know Matt, and it takes a lot to get him po'd, but you've done it well.
You know who you are.

Robert .. thank you! MATT .. THANK YOU!!!
Yes, there is verbal D. here. Hopefully it is growing pains and not a way of life. Perhaps those with nothing but junk to give will leave.
To those who are a major positive part of the forum.... THANK YOU... at least from me.

and again MATT... THANK YOU!!!

So that is what this is all about. You bought a product on treebay, and are unhappy with it. So you have decided to come to this forum, and throw your tantrum here in public display in an attempt to disrupt what we have here?

Thank you Robert

Robert - thank you for saying what, I am sure, a lot of us have been thinking. We have a great forum here. Let's get back to talking about bonsai - that's why I am here!

If I wanted to talk about something else - I would find a different forum.

I am so glad someone bought this up. Al and I spoke about this the other night. Right now the forum is cr@p. I take that back. The posts, and attitudes of postsers are cr@p. It might be because it is fall and some of us don't have too much bonsai work to do. It could just be that we are somehow recruiting nasty people to the forum. Whatever it is it seems that most posts end up in fights, or completely of topic. A lot of the posts don't even have anything to do with bonsai. Sure we have a general forum thats geared towards off topics, but off topics seem to be spreading all over the forum. I'm sure I have hade my share in this, but I think that we all should try to stay a little more focused.

Sadly enough, this place is becoming more of a bitch-fest than a bonsai forum. Even though it's sometimes mildly amusing to read the rantings of someone, enough is enough.

Kid...I have a brass branch bender that I have never used. I'll gladly give it to you if you will pay for the postage.

Dear Kid:

1) All Joshua Roth tools are fully warranted by the manufacturer for a period of three years from the date of purchase. If you have any problem with any of the tools purchased from TreeBay.com, please feel free to contact us at bonsai@treebay.com

My formal shipping records only go back a couple of years. I have records shipments to Virginia, but none to you unless you were living in Alexandria or Charlottesville at the time and using a different name. Perhaps you purchased your tools somewhere else? In any case, you can always contact the manufacturer directly at http://www.joshuaroth.com with your questions or complaints, even if you did not purchase your tools from TreeBay.

A note to Forum Members:

I have received a few complaints today concerning posts by certain user(s) disrupting the bonsaiTALK experience. If you would like to formally ignore one or more forum members, I would like to remind you that you can click on that user's name in any post. That will take you to a user PROFILE page. From there you will find a link towards the bottom on the right that says

"Add ________ to your Ignore List." Click it, and you are free.

Regards,

Matt
