Wouldn't it be nice if filling out the user CP in its entirety was a mandatory thing when first joining the forum. It would make things much easier.

SUGGESTION:
a mass email to all existing members, including all information that they would need to understand what the User CP function does. then, with each new signup, the same email automatically explaining how this info helps and, again, what it does.


call me crazy, but i think that might just work a little better than the "case by case" method employed right now. hope this helps.

Great idea!

Most of the user fields can be completed at registration now. The latest release of the software enabled a "optional, but ask at registration" option. Before it had just been mandatory or optional.
