Right here is the problem I have with the Chat room.

I don't know why you seem compelled to answer everything I do with an insult Chris. I have been doing the best I can to mend fences between us by treating you with courtesy when ever our paths have crossed.

You seem to think I have an ulterior motive for everything I do. My motive is exactly as I stated in the beginning of this thread, nothing more and nothing less. Let me give you another analogy. Friend A calls Friend B with a problem. Friend B goes next door to Friend C and discusses the situation and between the two of them they figure it out. Friend B then goes back to Friend A and tells him that he and Friend C figured out the problem but because Friend A was not privy to the conversation between Friend B and C he is told he should have made arrangements to be present during this ensuing conversation. Friend A is now left scratching his head because he still does not have an answer to his question. All he does know is that someone claims to have the answer but Friend A does not know whether this solution is good, bad or Bovine Scatology.

Seems like you are making a big deal out of something you rerley use.
Those that do use the Chat room regulairly seem to be content with it like it is. Why grease the wheel if it ain't squeeking

I kind of thought the exchange Vance was talking about was kind of confusing too.

The difficulty, from what I can tell, is not with the chat room, but with when discussions there transfer here to the forum. Some information is lost in the process. Explanations that are made on chat then discussed here with little detail offered are kind of puzzling for folks here. Instead of saying "we worked it out in chat" a little more info on HOW you worked it out there might be appropriate for readers HERE.

That's an excellent point and one that needs to be made on the spot when it happens. That was my point about the phone conversation. Or a workshop for that matter.
