November Member Bulletin

This email was the best thing you have sent out yet Matt. The design and the content are magnificent. I like the "member profile" on JT and the contest reminders are put together nicely.

The use of color, and the **read more** keys are reminiscent of things I have seen on other professional web sites. I like the way they suck you us in with teasers.

Nice work, You are da man...Al

Thanks, Al!

An important reminder

To folks with email accounts that don't support HTML: One user received what appeared to be a blank email, because his email system client (I think it was Hotmail) doesn't support fonts, graphics and links.

So, if you are among the few that got a blank or unreadable newsletter:

1. Go into your USER CP and select EDIT OPTIONS, or simply click here:

http://forum.bonsaitalk.com/member....ion=editoptions

2. Scroll down to where it says "Receive Community Bulletin Email" about halfway down the page and change your newsletter type preference from HTML (exciting) to TEXT (boring).

3. Click SUBMIT MODIFICATIONS at the bottom of the page

HTML is by far the better option, but not 100% compatible with everything out there at the moment.

If you got a readable newsletter, just enjoy it and don't worry about anything!

Regards,

Matt

Kazuki, I just read this on the Lyris site:

"There are two things to note about this message in Hotmail: 1) the white text appears black, and 2) the entire message appears BLANK when <html> and <body> tags are included"

Maybe I'll try sending you a newsletter from my computer that has the html and body tags stripped out and we'll see what happens!

Ooops. I just checked you're not using a hotmail address on the forum. Maybe PM me with the address, or email me from it and I will try sending you a modified version.

Regards,

Matt
