I am a Registered User
While I appreciate the official status of being "registered," the title of "Registered User" strikes me as a tad mundane.
When i first signed up, the title "neophyte" was applied without any of my input --- not that I mind it, since I'm a big fan of the beginner's mind approach to bonsai, work, recovery, sex, and just life in general. Then it was switched after I posted a few times (I don't recall what the next title was). Anyway, my "using" days are over, even if I still use the forum I have serched in vain for the function on the user CP that allows me to assign my own title. I imagine that somewhere in the UserCP there is a function that looks like this: Please select your title

I believe that after a certain number of posts you can go to your profile page and edit that title, or if left alone it will change automatically as your posts increase.
I do enjoy your beginners outlook of life! Will |

Here's How...
Heya Pootsie,
Under "User CP", go to "Edit Profile". There will be a section titled "Optional Information", and in that section is an area that says "Custom User Title". That is where you can change it. Jennifer

Jennifer was right. It was just something in the REGISTERED USER defaults.
I think in your user control panel under Profile you can make changes to your signature and title. Of course, I have been wrong before. Regards, Matt P.S. Thanks for the idea about the contributions, Pootsie!

Nope, not there. Journeyman is fine, but if this forum tries to label me "master" after a certain number of posts, I'll have to add a disclaimer to my sigline. I'm the apprentice, it's my cat with the master skillzz pootsie |
