Tom and Fly, you guys are killing me

"I for one came from a wealthy, hard working family, retired at age 23 and find being called a " clown " offensive."
Well, not coming from a wealthy family, and definetly not retired at the age of 23, perhaps I cannot relate.... but...

I find the title humorus, as well as Carl's first post (nice doggie!)... I "got" it without considering it to be offensive... and besides, what's wrong with being a clown? It's an easy halloween costume, great way to entertain kids espically if you learn how to do balloon animals, and is fun! I know "real" clowns... and they are also doctors... who happen to have great senses of humor and enjoy entertaining people.

Now, if the title were, Who are these idiots? that'd be different. Besides......never hear a mod say they were 100% professional... wouldn't you have to be paid to be 100% professional? LOL

Whever accused members of BonsaiTalk of good taste?

Barry, I practise cannabalism and have found that remark offensive and tasteless...and in the Thanksgiving tradition, I like dark and light meat!

The joy's of being 23yrs old and retired is not as simple as you think.
I have just lost the keys to my Lamborghini, it is going to cost me 2000 bucks for a new set, i just knew i should have purchased two cars.

the mistake you made was in buying cars.... you should have purchased a few lolerplanes or roflcopters... that would have given you the benefit of being able to hire someone to drive your lamborgini's for you... so they could pay for the lost keys.... but then again..... I wonder what happens when you run out of TP in the bathroom!!!!

Wow.... this is high comedy.... I think what I found most amusing in all this discussion of hard work, and not being a clown, was that the young man was at least good enough to give the credit of hard work to his family.... and not himself.

Family pride is always to be commended.... especially on Thanksgiving. I think our young retirey must be enjoying a very fine meal provided by his very hard working family, eating off the silver spoon he's been accoustemed to for some time now.

Second most amusing thing is that he isn't old enough to be any of the "respectable" profressionals he was drawing attention to.

Thanks for the chuckles my friends.....

Pearl... if you want stuffy and pretentious... there are other sites more suited to your needs. This isn't one of them. However, if you want to learn, have some fun, and make friends.... then welcome to the family. But trust me... you'll want to relax a bit, otherwise you'll miss out on the fun before you even realized it passed you by.

Kind regards,

Victrinia
