I for one came from a wealthy, hard working family of clowns. Your statement sounds like you think clowns are second class citizens. Your sir sound like a clown bigot.

Hi All,

I think we should stop this subject at this time since it could create alot of problem later on. In my opinion, this website is really great. We like a friendly community to which we share knowledge and care of each other in some ways. HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL. Bonhe

There's nothing wrong with the title, it was meant in good humor. We've had many funny moments here on BT, sometimes we talk about trees, and sometimes we talk about nuts. And, for the British, conkers.

And we don't close down threads because they might go somewhere other than intended... we close them when they do go somewhere other than intended. Generally we give threads time to follow the path that the membership dictates. The dialogue can be entertaining. And enlightening. We have as many points of view as we have members.

Gday Pearl!

As one of the 'people who can make changes' here, I'd like to say that I can't recall ever having claimed to be professional at all, let alone 100% professional. I'm not even 100% professional when performing my real job (I usually peak at about 87%).

Thanks.

FlyBri.

You are very lucky to peak out at 87% i am happy at 50% this means i am always correct for half the time.
Due to my infinite wisdom on the ways of life, my charisma, and my knowledge on general things 50% ain't too bad.
I will have to let the wife out of her cupboard and explain things to her, she always calls me a dick.

You, A Clown?

Quotes by the great Charlie Chaplin:

"I remain just one thing, and one thing only -- and that is a clown. It places me on

a far higher plane than any politician.

"

" I for one came from a wealthy, hard working family, retired at age 23 and find being called a " clown " offensive."

Although the above quote made me smile, I don't think of you as a "clown"!

Hans.
