Democratic Banishment

A recent closed thread where I was referred as unemployed, the 'messiah of bonsai' and stupid. (Although not directly by name.) And recent replies to threads where the overall tone was negative has led me to do some serious thinking.

I will not defend myself, my thoughts, my goals, my contributions, or my philosophy here, instead I will recognize this forum for what it truly is, A democracy of bonsai lovers.

Although I have received a couple notes of support, the negativity runs strong, neg points pile up, and I do not want to be the cause of a mass exodus because of my outspoken beliefs.

I leave it to the forum members. It's your call, should I simply stop posting or continue on? I am fully prepared to follow the majority.

With respect,

Will Heath

Aw, Will!

Hang in there.

Nobody has to read anyone else's posts.

Besides, you do put out some useful info.

The heck with it. I just gave you a positive one.

Keep posting. You do have some good things to say. Forget that other thread and get on with life. No sense in driving that Edsil down the road.

As one who has sparred with you in the past, keep up the posts. Sometimes I think some take online discussions a bit too seriously. People that don't want to read something, ought to learn not to read it. and who really gives a damn about the feedback monitor?

Looking at the results of the poll so far, I think you have a lot of support.

I don't spend too much time on the "philosophical" aspects of bonsai, so I don't get my back up too easily. I do get my back up when folks start telling others what they can and cannot say (offensiveness excepted).

Personally, I'm more in the category of the person who was asked if ignorance or apathy was the greater problem, and answered "I don't know and I don't care."

Good thing it isn't a close vote. We'd have to have some guy in Florida or Ohio decide the outcome.

Paid for by the committee to recall Will_Heath, Will Heath, President.

Looks like a landslide so far!
How does that saying go... "If you don't see something nice to read... Don't read it"
Something like that!

I ought to vote the other way just to be different. Actually, I read about 2/3rd's of everything that Will has posted, just like everything else here. Only the 2/3rds that interested me. Do I have a fibonacci thing going on with my reading? Maybe there is a golden mean to Will's posting?
