Workshops for beginner
Hi everyone,
I live in Willow Glen which is not too far from where the Midori Bonsai Club is located. I'm interested in Bonsai and would like to know if Club have workshops for beginner? Thanks. Sabrina |

You can bring your tree to any "Third Thursday" meeting most months for assistance and advice from more experienced members. Those informal sessions start at 7:00PM and are held on the Third Thursday of most months (except December & November)
Location is in the sticky post at the top of this forum, but it sounds like you know where it is! St Edward's Church at Hwy 85 & Union Ave Regards, Matt

Thank you all.
I found club address from other website which is 15040 Union Ave, San Jose, 95124. Is it correct? I don't know the phone number. Palo Alto Bonsai Club have a beginner workshop which is once a week for 6 weeks. However, Palo Alto is a little bit far for me. I don't have a tree or any tools because I don't know where to start. Is it ok for me to go to the club and have a look even I'm not a member? Do I need to tell somebody before I went or just show up? Thanks, Sabrina |

The address sounds right. You can visit the club even if you're not a member. If you want to bring a tree, go to the 3rd Thursday @ 7PM. 1st Thursday @ 7:30 is usually (not always) a lecture.
Tell 'em you heard it on bonsaiTALK! Regards, Matt
