Midori Bonsai Club Holiday Party

Tonight was Midori's annual Holiday Party and Auction.

We came away with two oaks and a bottle of single malt scotch!

Some of the highlights

1 John Thompson selling another lot of who knows what
2 Larry White making a sale on a big bag of expanded shale soil amendment
3 A Ponytail Palm for sale!
4 John and Tim conferring over the provenance of some Whiskey someone donated (it came with 5 a bonsai pot to make it legit)
5 A nice olive with a flat cut base

Not pictured - a complete set of Bonsai Today (100 issues) went for $800!

Maybe I'll get some photos of my haul tomorrow - it's too wet right at the moment.

It sure is.
The Badger Bonsai Society is having their Holiday party next week. I doubt it will be as cool as yours.
