I am a little testy now that you mention it.
 I was having trouble posting for a few days. I could log on fine but when I tried to post I got a message saying that I was unregistered. Anyway I got a new password and I now I go to the startpage first and then to the forum. Everything seems fine for the last couple of days. I was using this test post to see if it was going to work. I'm surprised anyone reads these test posts anyway. Tony |

Hi Tony,
Yes you can enter from either http://www.bonsaitalk.com for the startpage or http://forum.bonsaitalk.com for the forum index If you use one of those two you should be fine. Regards, Matt

Hey Matt, that second link is the one I've been using all this time and worked fine until a few days ago. I just tried it again and got this message even after logging in:
vBulletin Message You are not logged in or you do not have permission to access this page. Yet when I go to the start page first and then to the forum it lets me post. I duno. Weird huh? |

Are you sure you are not linking to
http://www.bonsaiTALK.com/forum << incorrect! It would behave exactly as you describe if you were to do that. The only thing going to the start page would actually do would be to give you a forum link to http://forum.bonsaitalk.com << correct! Which is the correct link for the forum index. Regards, Matt

Even worse than that! I was using http://www.ip-sys.com/~bonsai/forum/.
Looking through my favorites folder I seem to have 4 bookmarks for the bonsaitalk site. I must have bookmarked them when you were testing the new forum and never changed them since it worked untill a week ago. Got it figured out now. Thanks, Matt Tony |
