Ahhh see if it were me I woulda ended up with the dremel tool on at full speed and something that resembled an exploded pumpking pie all over the walls!

I actually tried the dremel and the results were about the same! You need to be in a place where you can deal with the SPLASHING liquid pumpkin goo all over the walls!
Small carving tools are much less messy.

A 'lil pumpkin tip.. to make such lantern style pumpkins you need to carve the outside first and then scrape away the inside until light passes through well enough to be seen. You can do it the other way, but when it's carved beforehand you know how much needs to be removed from the insides.

Cool thanks for the tips.. I think I might just try making something.. Because after all if I fail miserably (likely to happen) I can still see about making that pie!
