Sacrifice Branches
Do sacrifice branches only work on juniper or can they be used on pines/other species?

Re: Sacrifice Branches
J-Arm,
Great question!!! I think they work especially good on trees growing in the ground. If you can decide on a front very early on a tree, then let branches grow very low on the back side you can great a mighty tree in a short time! I take them off when they get one have the diameter as the trunk any bigger you may get a weird shaped trunk(out of round) and a scar that is like a crator. Cut it off and another will take its place soon to aid in scar healing and increase the trunk some more.
