The Whidn Thereom

thank you for all the replies espeshally ripsgreentree, but all of them were helpful. ripsgreentree's reply was very helpful because it makes sence.
"Stop and think, rain is quite natural and as long as it does not wash your soil out of your pots"

It makes sence to me. I have a weathe station set up. It does wind, rain, temp., ect. just about everything and it said we had appox. 3 in. in the last two days and judgeing by "The Whidn Thereom" (which I have talken the liberty of calling) this rain fall is ok. I'm still going to let them sit and dry out for the next couple days. Thank you all who replied.

rain

I also will start watering again this morning.
Widen is correct in the assumption that storms that bring under 1/2 in of rain will not properly water a free standing bonsai much less trees that are protected by shade cloth.
The water that we put on our bonsai each day represents several hunderd inches of rain per year so the average storm is only going to give you a small break in watering.
