what should I do with this oak...
well right now I'm letting it's roots fill in since I just dug it up, but I think some day it would make a nice tree... so what stile do you think I should do?

Giving the tree a chance to stabilize and recover after being collected is a good idea.
In the meantime you'll want to be looking at the trunk from all angles to see where you can find an interesting line. Natural oaks almost always have a twisting trunk with a lot of character. Once you have had it growing for a few months you should start to see new growth that may help you refine your selection. Regards, Matt
