Question new juniper on rock cascading

I just bought these two junpers and plainted them on this rock. If you look closely you can see how I wired the juniper to cascade... any sugjestions are nice

Hi Mintastic,

Nice composition! I like the combination of water (implied), rock, moss, accent plants, and the junipers.

Suggestions? I'm hard pressed to come up with many. The one thing I can suggest is to try to show some of the trunk line on your junipers. That will make them look more like old trees (where you can see much of the trunk) than bushes (where trunk is hidden). Again, like with your forest, areas of open space can be quite helpful. As one of my teachers said, you need holes int he foliage for the birds to fly through.

Oh, and one gentle etiquette suggestion: please don't post the same images in multiple threads. People here typically read most or all of the forums, so one post is plenty.

I think OMC said it all... The pot and open space really creates a nice impression of an island. I really have to agree with OMC when he said to try and show a part of the juniper trunk.
