I have an Andorra Juniper...multi trunked...and need help.
It has a lot going on and prunning is necessary. I want to do a bit of experimenting with this plant. I thought of jinning. If anyone is familar with Andorras and/or jinning please share tips, advice, etc. Here are pictures: First one-front Second-front/right Third-front/left The first/front is the decided front...the left and right are for you. These are the best angles. Thanks. |

Hi, I have a comman junip just like yours. Too bad nobody replied. It would be interesting to work on both of them simultaneously and see the progress. perhaps same style or maybe different styles. I guess we have to wait till somebody replies

Hi,
I think You'll have quite a work to do. If You've decided already that the front is really one of the sides that shows best the nebari i would take a loo the on the Foliage. One thing, the foliage (from the photos) seems a bit far and away from the trunks which could be a problem, if You're intending to be inspired by the Kabudachi stylling. From the pictures You show, i would eventually define which trunk(s) presents the best in relation to Foliage Health and that shows the green mass closest as well. All the rest, You may consider for building a good proportion of dead wood. Gustavo |

It's been awhile since I've stopped by.
Thanks for the reply. I've been "pulling" the trunks together for some time now and working on the foilage. It looks a lot better now. But I'm still uncertain about it. I'll have the winter to figure out actions to take in the spring. Thanks. |

Hello untothee, don't limit yourself to the position that the tree is in now. You may be able to pull a semi cascade out of this. In other words. Tip the pot on its side. One side and make an assessment. Then tip it on the other side and make an assessment. Here are a couple of pics with the tree tipped. This may be a beginning.
