Wire

I am going to need some new wire.

as i have been out of the loop for so long, i cnat think of what size i used to buy for general branch wiring!

What is a good wire size for semi soft branches about the gague of a pencil?

if i remember right, i think i used 2.0 for most of my wiring needs.

At treebay, I tried to find the minimum order amount and minimum shipping costs, but came up empty.

is there any?
I just ened wire and screen, but dont want to have to spend $200.00 and a minimum shipping of $20 if im only buying a few ounces of wire!

Any help would be great

Groan,
Most used sizes in aluminum are 1.5 thru 3. Copper, guages 18 through 10. You can always add on as needed. I buy the wire for a club of 320 people and these are the sizes we are always running out of. Good luck

OK, thanks.
that's what i figured.

Perhaps i will email that guy with the auction and see if he will ship to canada...

i just cant see paying $20 shipping on an item that weighs only a couple ounces at most.

********Oh, one other question...I seem to remember only ever using Aluminum wire with the copper coloring. Is there a big difference between that and real copper wire?

I can actually get those wires from that Ebay auction, but want to know if i should just wait till i can find a good deal on Copper.

Thanks again.
Please Help Me!
