I'm surprised no one has mentioned small chain saws, die grinders, dremels, fordams and carving tools. Not to mention impact carveing tools.

G'day Greg...
Regular jin pliers are the best, but no absolutely required. Another "household" tool is the long nose flat tip pliers. As to a torch...try a kitchen torch...of chef's torch. Pat
