Tool Sharpening

Does anyone know of a tool sharpening sevice offered anywhere.
Before I get lectured about sharpening my own, I've tried already.
I did okay on one pair of Fujiyama concave cutters, and ruined a second
pair. So I'm done trying until I can find someone who can show me face to face
and walk me through it. I still sharpen my own scissors\shears and can do that with
out ruining them. But I need to find somewhere to send my concave and knob cutters.

Thanks for the help.

My bonsai club in Chicago had a lecture on tool sharpening each year - I imagine many other local clubs do too - do you have a club in your area? Nothing beats seeing an experienced person first hand.

Unfortunately we don't have a local club (I've been trying to change this unsuccessfully so far) but am thinking I should either drive to the Monastery in Conyers, or Plant City Bonsai and see what they know.

Thanks,

Nigel

I'm not as familiar with GA as I should be, but if you're close enough to consider driving to the Monastery (or Plant City if I'm right...) then you might want to consider Atl. Bonsai Society (or club.) Its pretty active and draws some huge names.

I've decided to get over to the Monastery as soon as my schedule permits. Atlanta is further away from me, and after some recent dealings with some of the senior members of the Atlanta Bonsai Society I'd rather not bother with them again.

Thanks,

Nigel
