Temptation
We're having absolutely gorgeous Spring weather here in the Ozarks. Checking out my trees, which are still in Winter Quarters, the buds are swelling and they look ready to burst into leaf. Flowers are starting to appear on the ratty-looking Flowering Quinces I purchased at the year-end Walmart sale. Perfect conditions for the trap I fell into last year: bringing my trees out too early, right into an early March cold snap that was absolutly devastating, a real bonsai heart breaker.
Well, I won't be fooled again! Nothing comes out until mid-March. I don't care what the Bluebirds say; I'm sticking to the advice I'm getting from my calendar. But it ain't easy!!! Fred |

YOU CAN NOT RUSH TIME

Fred, the temp is now 47F it is 4PM. Oh, we have better than 2 feet of snow covering everything and there will be freezing rain on its way this weekend. I will be lucky to make Mid-March... But I am a bit north of you!
We will make it..... so will our trees!!!! Patience!!!! I'll try Jay
