Soil measuring gadgets...

I was in my favorite store the other day... a local True Value. They sell just about everything under the sun. I was in the garden section and noticed these cool looking gadgets for measuring everything from light, moisture, ph, and temp. Some were inidivdual meters, and others were "all in one" types. I was curious how effective these things are.... and to anyone who uses them, do you find they help you grow/maintain your trees better?

Yours in curiosity,

Victrinia

I do not care for the all in one meters...I have and have used the light or "lux" meters, The ph meters and the tds meters...

They are very helpful to me, but i do not think they are required...

hahahahaha... I would of been very suprised if you had not replied to this.

I do have one question though, what is a tds meter?

And no, I dont think they are required either. But I am looking at getting more of a method to my madness... And think that being able to track exactly whats going on with them would be helpful.

It is possible that I just have a lil too much time on my hands...

Yours as ever,

Victrinia

Yes well THAT particular gadet was not available. However I seem to recall it being something quite special that you had managed to get ahold of. And you use it when making your teas etc dont you?

Yours as ever,

Vic
