Suiseki Storm

My Grandfather is on a rock collecting kick. We have a whole picnic table full of interesting rocks he has collected and I’ve made 7 daiza in the past 5 days.

Here is one of them. More pics to come.

Suiseki - river stone - 水石
Daiza - pedestal - 台座

Walnut base again monogramed to one of our family friends, and what I have left to choose from.

I dont have a lot of personal experience with suiseki, but im posting because no-one else has! i think you have a nice selection of stones, but remember to only take the ones you need or particularly like, if we all went out and picked a load of interesting stones there wouldnt be many left for anyone else.

Having said that, nice stones and i do love suiseki, shame its difficult to find stones of interest here n/m
