Need Suiseki Guidance
My grandfather found this rock here in Tennessee quite some time ago. He picked it up because he thought it was a geode. When I hit it with a hammer it broke cleanly in half and revealed a red and black quartz bubble. I noticed it on my shelf a week ago and thought it would make a neat Suiseki.
I just carved the daiza today when I got in a woodworking mood. Should I leave it like this, carve lava flows in it, or take the white off completely? Also comments on the daiza would be appreciated, as it is the first I’ve done. Pictures Front, Left, Back, Right, Bottom.
