Another Daiza Finished

Another Daiza Finished

I have been very busy lately so I have been unable to work on any daiza for the stones that I purchased from Luciana. Now that Summer is here, I have a lot of free time on my hands. I just finished this diaza. The wood is poplar, like the others. I stuck the stone in clay to make a molding of the bottom, then tried to copy the indentations as much as possible. From there, I made the necarry alterations so the stone would be able to fit. This is the final result-

Thank you. I have learned several tricks along the way that are very helpful. I would like to make an elaborate dai sometime, but I am afraid that I just do not have the skills or tools to do it.
