Just bought a 25# bag of clay today. The studio where I buy my supplies, just got this in and its real dark brown, with very fine grog(small particles). I am still going to build a potters wheel, as I am hand turning my round pots now. This is a pic of one of my pots.

Well I tried out my new clay today and made a little rectangle shohin pot. I let it get leather hard and burnished it with a paper towel. It really shines. This is some really great clay. I can't wait to fire it and see how it looks.

Ahh.. yes this is a pic of the clay that I was using. The new pot will go into the kiln on Tue. and be ready to pickup on Thur. I will post as soon as possible.
