Those are nice pics Andy.
People are finally starting to respond better about sending "potted pics" and now I'm getting quite a lot, to do "Something" with..
Were these all from same customer, if not how did you ever get all photo'd on samebackground. Mine often come with bad backgrounds. Also, I like that shiny black spot they are sitting on. I think it gives the shots a nice look. Is that black formica or a lacquered wood? Looks nice for photos.

Poots

He is one very good customer, my Bonsai teacher, and his trees are fantastic, and these are just the Shohin

Dale

Yes it is the same customer. I went to a workshop with him recently and took the liberty of taking the pictures there and then. I have had a job in getting pictures from other customers, it would be nice to see the tree and pot combo end result.
The pictures were taken against a black background on a laquered wooden stand. The pics are ok but they seem to be a little too bright.

Regards to you both

Andy

Monkey, did you use just a flash? Maybe some side-light would help bring out the richness of tones a bit better. Still very nice, though.

I agree. I will give it go next time. I am just a humble potter, photography not my thing, but willing to learn

I can always find out how much it would cost? It all depends on the size and weight of the pot. I sent some to Rio de Janero not long ago and they weren't that expensive.

Andy,
I sent a pot to England last year via UPS and it was as much as the pot.
Recently I was going to send a pot to Morea, not a big pot, UPS wanted $105 to Netherlands. I thought that rediculous, so took box to US postal office to see about that. It was 70% cheaper!! I was sure suprised. So your regular mail ( or POST as you guys say) might be cheaper than a shipper. I think this is also true with tools I get from Euro but have a hard time getting them sent that way.
