Heres a slab-built rectangle w/ indented corners. About 15" long.
Gray/green matt finish, like stone.
I REALLY like this pot!
Colors are off in these pics, it is really more gray and clay is not that red. Hard to get colors right.

Here are some examples from making a commissioned pot for a particular tree.
( See post #24)
These are three pots I made in a clay/style a customer wanted, in three sizes slightly different in L&W&D.
I THINK the first one will be best bet. These are all in the 91/2" X 8" X 2 1/2" range.
unglazed ovals
I HOPE she likes at least one of them!!

Here's an oval pot I started to make for the set of commissioned ovals above, but, when realized it was too shallow I didn't put the band on the side and tried a new yeller glaze.
I think it's "PURTY"
about 91/2" x 8" x 21/4"

OK....here's one that falls in the "Sometimes the magic just doesn't work " catagory.
This real nice trad. rect was glazed with a MATT blue/gray and then coated with a MATT brown. Theoretically I was gonna have this nice matt brown with gray/blue showing through in areas...

You can see..... what the kiln decided!
