Some fresh stuff

I just finished unloading my kiln and taking a few pictures.
Most of the kiln was full of pots from my IBS05 pottery workshop, and some particular "motif" pots I don't want to show until they are all fired.
but,
here's a few things I got photographed

First is an unglazed oval double-banded "Bambo" pot 17 1/2" long

also, a triple-fired "Alligator" shohin pot.

The next pot is a hand-built slab rectangle in tannish/brown , 11 1/2" long
and
A thrown and altered , carved and green glazed cascade. 6" tall X 6 1/2" across. I can't decide which view makes best front. A flat side or corner

I hope you enjoy.

Dale, I'll take one of those alligator glazed pots. That one would be fine, if it's not spoken for. Or the next one you get around to making, or the one after that. Very nice!

Thanks Lauren,
That is not a reproducable glaze
but, it's still sitting on the dining room table so send me an email.
I'll tell you a story
Dale

Wow Dale I love that "aligator" one looks to me more like a "Lichen glaze". Feel free to use the term.LOL . And hey once again sory about going off a while back,...I didn't realize that you ARE an artist, not just a bussiness man. Please accept my apologies, I was out of line and have thought more than a few times about how I delt with the issue and how I expressed my feelings about it. I wish you the best in art and bussiness.

A few more after Thanksgiving

I've been experimenting with some ash glazes with ashes from my fireplace. So as not to ruin a time-consuming pot I test stuff on shohin scoops. I think I got a nice one here on these two scoops. You'll see more in different color shades now that I got it down

Two different unglazed bunjin. Rustic shape, rustic clay w/ lots of additives.
about 10-12" across.

Dale not that you need the ego stroked or anything.... but WOW.

We'll it's nice to know when I finally get a tree worthy of a real pot, I know who my man will be. No doubt.

I wish you lived somewhere over here... I'd work for you for free just to get a chance to learn.

Yours,
