Pre Fired Pots

Here are some pictures of pots that I have made when they are drying out prior to being bisque fired.

I love the look of fresh greenware. Are these in your latest kiln?

Hi Nut

These pots will be in for the next Bisque firing, but that won't be until I have made enough to fill the kiln, in about a months time. That is the only problem with having a large kiln as it is cost effective to get as much in there as poss. I try and do a firing about once a month whether bisque or glaze firing. It just means that every spare minute I have I am making pots, if I am not making pots then I am tending to my trees. What a life eh?

I have just finished a firing and I unloaded the kiln today. The pots will be on here sometime tomorrow.

Regards

Andy

Yeah, sounds like a good life, I'm lucky that I can use a school kiln and fire all the time...nearly every 2-3 days(taxes in good use!)
