A Kevin Thompson Glazed Round
Hello everyone,
I thought I'd share bit of good news to go along with today's very sad news of Naka's passing. Today I received a package from BonsaiTALK member Kevin Thompson (muddslinger). Inside, five bonsai pots. In short, it is stunning to see how good Kevin's pots are getting. I tried to take a set of photos to show you, but only one of them - shown below - really does any semblance of justice to Kevin's work. If you haven't seen Kevin's work in person yet, you owe it to yourself to do so as soon possible. This is a glazed blue round that Kevin custom-made for a red lace filigree maple of mine. I'll plant the tree in it next spring. Best wishes to all, Carl

I have an absolutely gorgeous yellow glazed oval by Kevin, and wholly agree that he’s a talented potter indeed. Unfortunately I don’t have a tree anywhere near pot-ready for it yet.
